Inmates in the Philippines accepted Jesus through baptism
On April 3, 2010, one hundred ninety five (195) inmates in the Ipil District Jail in the Philippines accepted Jesus through baptism.
They came out from the inside of the jail in twos, chained to each other. Their commitment to accept Jesus through baptism gave them a pass to go outside of their cells.
The majority of them will never get a change to get out because their families are very poor and couldn't afford a lawyer or bail money.
At first they asked, "Who is this Jesus Who wants to give us ETERNAL LIFE?" The weekly Bible studies and services held by the adopted ministers inside the jail gave them hope. The Holy Spirit convicted their hearts.
They found a different kind of FREEDOM.

Today, around 200 of the 300+ inmates in this jail had found new HOPE and had been baptized. We would like to thank all our sponsors for your faithful support to Adopt a Minister International. May God continue to bless you.
